​We are aware of our responsibility as a fashion brand, which is why we are doing everything we can in order to reduce our carbon footprint. We don't buy anything we need (be it envelopes, fabrics or pens) from Amazon. Due to the fact that our Loopes and Tops are handmade in Germany and Austria, the carbon emissions from logistics are very low.

Packaging

Our packaging (we use as little material as possible) is mostly made from grass paper and recyceled paper which is very low in carbon emissions. Please seperate plastic and paper to recycle the envelope. The ribbons we use to tie up the Loopes are Tencel leftovers from the Loope Top. 

 

Loope and Loope Top Materials

We make sure to only buy materials from suppliers that have set high enough goals to reduce their environmental impact. Our silk is designed in London and printed in Italy. It's sold by Liberty London. We purchase the Tencel Twill from 1000stoff and van Soest.

 

Goals

We have been looking for organic crepe de chine silk since launching our first collection but were unable to find a producer that offers the fabric with good-looking prints. Our goal is to use only organic silk by 2023 and to use 100% recyceled or grass paper packaging by January 2022 (there is a small amount of plastic in our packaging that isn't recyceled yet).
